27 Week Twin Pregnancy Update

I am pretty tired tonight so this is going to be a quick(ish) update!  We had our 28 week ultrasound today, and I promise to write about that soon… but for now let’s recap this past week!

27 weeks pregnant

How far along? 27 weeks

Size of Babies: Rutabagas! I need to look at the grocery store next time I’m there because I don’t know that I’ve ever paid attention to a rutabaga.

Total weight gain/loss: Still holding steady and not gaining much this week.

Symptoms: Still having some rib/sternum pain. Trouble sleeping through the night. Less Braxton Hicks. Still having some food aversions (meat for sure). Heartburn and indigestion every day.

Maternity clothes? Some are getting too small in the belly area!

Stretch marks? Nada.

Best moment this week: Working on some furniture for the nursery.  These boys will be here before we know it!

Miss Anything? Sleep.  I will have 1-2 good nights of sleep and then have a couple nights of less than stellar sleep.

Movement: Constantly.  I love it.

Food cravings: Juice, granola, a little ice cream, french fries… well any potatoes.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Meat, horrid meat.

Have you started to show yet: Yessir.

Labor Signs: Nada.

Belly Button in or out? Still there!

Wedding rings on or off? On.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Definitely moody when I don’t get much sleep or am super uncomfortable (or both).

Looking forward to: Hearing about our (possibly) new house.
