I’m sitting here with my laptop, listening to music and working on this blog. The boys are going crazy in my tummy! They definitely react to music… especially anything with a strong beat or bass. Both A and I love music and each play different instruments, so maybe we could have two musicians on our hands!
At our OB appointment I hadn’t gained any weight, but am now measuring 30 weeks! So I went from measuring 27 weeks to 30 weeks in just 2 weeks! These boys are definitely growing like two little weeds. 🙂
How far along? 26 weeks
Size of Babies: Heads of lettuce. 🙂 Makes me think of cabbages, which makes me think of Cabbage Patch Kids. 🙂
Total weight gain/loss: According to the doctor’s scale I’m up 13 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight.
Symptoms: Still having some rib/sternum pain. Trouble sleeping through the night. Feeling some round ligament pain, but it passes quickly. Less Braxton Hicks. Still having some food aversions (meat for sure). Heartburn and indigestion big time.
Maternity clothes? All day, baby.
Stretch marks? None yet, though I do have what looks like some broken capillaries on my tummy. Weird!
Best moment this week: Going to our first birthing class! Felt like it really helped bring my husband and I together. It has to be hard for the partner to really feel connected to the baby (or babies in our case) during the pregnancy. Plus, being first time parents, I have a feeling we will be learning a lot! What is also awesome about our class is the RN who is teaching also had twins! I plan on picking her brain!
Miss Anything? It may be TMI, but smaller boobs. My chest has grown like crazy… and no matter what people think, it isn’t fun.
Movement: Constantly. I love it.
Food cravings: Fruity stuff, still. Now some ice cream, and cold things. I ate some broccoli this week… hallelujah! Cooked veggies still kind of gross me out, but I am finding I can at least eat some raw veggies without gagging now.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Meat, as always. Grilled and baked meat especially. Even the meat in my soup at lunchtime grossed me out.
Have you started to show yet: Well, random strangers have now started asking me when I’m due. 😉
Labor Signs: Nada.
Belly Button in or out? Still hanging in there, surprisingly.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: I’ve definitely noticed more moodiness, poor A. It isn’t intentional at all, and I find myself biting my lip to keep from saying things… but he and I spend enough time together that it gets hard to do! That is definitely something I am going to try to work: being a nicer pregnant lady.
Looking forward to: Our next ultrasound!! I can’t wait to see what position the babies are in, how much they’ve grown, what they’re looking like now!
